Neutral or Bold:  Neutral colors are the easiest to decorate with. Neutral colors are not only beige, they now include colors such as grays, pale greens, yellows, purples and blues. Bold colors  add flair and excitement to a room.

Construction:  Fiber, density of yarn, yarn twists, etc. will all affect the performance of your carpet. All of these factors will impact the durability of the carpet as well as its look.

Let our family take care of yours

Carpet's colors range from solids and tweeds, to berbers and jewels. These color options allow you to create the design you want for your home or interior space.

Performance

Texture:  Texture construction carpet has long, crimped yarns for a casual look that works for any room. With higher pile for a super-soft feel, it's no wonder that texture is our most popular style.

Your carpet will provide you with years of beauty and performance. The performance of your carpet will be determined by several factors:

Triexta:  Combining the resilience of nylon and the stain resistance of polyester, Triexta provides excellent performance and value. It is also exceptionally soft and offers a wide array of styles and design option

Warm or Cool:  Warm colors can add comfort to a room. These colors often have an energizing affect. Cool colors can bring a calming ambiance to the space.

Color

Lighter or Darker:  Lighter colors can make a room seem larger, but do show more wear and soil.  Darker colors can make a room more intimate and cozy. They are the best for disguising soil.

Carpet

Nylon:  It is the most durable and resilient carpet fiber available. Though not inherently stain resistant, most nylon carpets include a stain-resistant carpet treatment like R2X, Scotchguard, or Stainmaster.

Polyester:  While not as durable as nylon, polyester offers exceptional color clarity, and it is also naturally stain and fade resistant. Polyester carpet offers the best value in floor covering.

Loop:  Loop construction carpet has dense, looped strands and a low profile for a clean, low-maintenance look. This style is durable, reliable, and ideal for high-traffic areas.

Performance Rating:  The performance rating will let you know if a particular product is suited for the wear expectations of a particular room. Make sure you tell your carpet expert what room your purchase is for and your family lifestyle (kids, pets, etc.)

Polypropylene:  Polypropylene offers excellent resistance to fading and is inherently stain resistant – useful in rooms with direct sunlight.

Fiber

Your Design Flooring Team

Natural Fibers:  Wall-to-wall carpet and area rugs are also available in a variety of natural fibers. Wool, sisal, sea grass, and jute are all sourced from renewable resources and provide excellent options in sustainable floor covering.

Proper Cushioning:  A good cushion (pad) will act as a shock absorber and transfer weight and wear from the carpet to the pad. This will extend the life of your carpet. Ask your sales associate or see manufacturer pad requirements for the correct pad.

Twist:  Twist or frieze construction carpet has high, twisted yarns for a longer crimped look and relaxed feel. Its long twists create dimension and visual interest as well as a bouncy, springy feel underfoot.
